OK, this is TV but it's probably more relevant here than on
the PHX TV board...

I see the AZ Star website finally picked up on this item that's
been on the TV Spy Watercooler for a day and a half. What,
they were waiting for the AP story?

Some bad blood at the Newsplex. Anchor disses ND via internal
e-mail. Management rankled. Jungle Jim Arnold tells Randy
"buh-bye." Main anchor team now totally dismantled. KOLD-TV
said to be in a real "pickel."
 
azstarnet.com has the actual memo Randy sent. And lots of follow up comments. Just a two weeks ago Tucson Weekly called him (something like) "Smart Ass Randy". He proved it. Damaged goods. Won't do TV again in this town. I don't think even that Phoenix TV station that runs all Andy Griffith and Mannix reruns would have him. (Even though they do have a very hip program manager--right oldiesfan? ;-)
