no sleuth or 17-2

It seems Comcast will not add Sleuth when Verizon, Dish and DirectTV have added it, also they did add Tango 17-3, but wont add the nostalgia channel 17-2, they do run THIS 17-4, there are other side TV bands Comcast will not add, and I thought its a must add clause for local side channels. If this thread is deleted, please re write it and add comments....thanks...

This is actually 17-3 and tango is 17-4. They also expect Tango, 17-4, to be carried on FiOS shortly as well.

Is Verizon FiOS going to be adding 17-2 as well? They are supposed to be adding 17-4 and they already carry 17-3.

I was told Verizon and Comcast added Tango because it is not really a Channel like THIS that is carried by 17, it is a service for the Delaware Valley that anyone can access on phone and internet. I did notice that there is no Legal ID on the hour, THIS does have the Channel 17 legal ID, so I guess this is why Tango was added it is not a Channel 17 side band, althought it may be considered one. I notice Comcast does not carry Allentowns 69-2 which is Nostalgia TV, but does carry all the Channel 39 sides...

It's actually RTV(Retro TV), and it's on 69-3. 69-2 is the AccuWeather Channel.

I heard that retro tv has some great older shows....shouldn't Comcast be forced to carry it, must carry rules. They do carry all Channel 39's side channels. One good thing about Tango, they play some great tunes, heard Wonderwall-Oasis, Right to Party-Beasties, Bittersweet Symphoney-Verve, I get around-Beach Boys and a host of others all in one set....LOL

Buzz. Incorrect. Thank-you for playing. The sources I have say Comcast will be adding Antenna TV (Channel 17.2 Philly, PA) and (Channel 61.2 Hartford, CT) to cable in their respective markets on January 25th.

And what source would that be? Why should we trust a "Master of Disaster from CT"?

FIOS does not carry RTV. They do "carry" 17.2 but it's still This, not Antenna showing.

Cable systems do have to carry sub-channels under "must-carry" but the station is responsible for providing a microwave link to the cable systems (if an acceptable OTA signal is not available where the cable system is located).

AFAIK Comcast carries all of 39's subchannels west of the DE River, but in condition that 39 was no longer part of the analog service.

I know 69 and its subchannels including RTV can be received with an OTA in the Cherry Hill area, but neither Comcast or Fios carries it. WBPH-DT now also is receivable but neither carrier carries it on the Jersey side.

Comcast still doesn't have WTVE in Cherry Hill, but Fios offers it (just like Fios carries 39). I'm not sure about WTVE's OTA signal however.

Then why didn't you just say that you read something online, instead of claiming to have sources?
