NO SOUND ON THIS TV

Has anyone watched This TV at 6:30 am yesterday (Monday the 13th) and this morning and noticed there was no sound? The station was broadcasting the Mister Ed show and the sound only came on during the commercials. I'm surprized that THis TV did not notice this problem, or maybe it was a problem only at my local affiliate in Boston, MA (WHDH-DT 7.2). As a regular viewer of the show, I know the horse did not talk to anyone except to his owner, but did he and the entire show cast stop talking to us too? If This TV would correct the problem it would keep me 'stable' like the horse.

More than likely, either the audio from the satellite receiver that WHDH receives ThisTV was interrupted for some reason or another, or the switcher at WHDH went on the fritz. It looks like the issue has been solved. But if it does happen again, just give the folks at Channel 7 a call. If it's from Chicago (where ThisTV is uplinked), I'm sure 'HDH will get them on it. It's good to see that there is an audience for ThisTV in the Boston area. I'm hoping the Retro Television Network will be available in Boston-proper, sometime soon. In the meantime, I can see it on WJAR 10.2, when the conditions are good (or when they decide to move the antenna to the top of the tower in Rehoboth).

It might be a good idea for you to contact WHDH, just to give them a heads up on what happened. That way, there is a record of the outage.

At least it was better than "The Tube."
The Tube was a total dead weight.

This TV switched over to Dolby Digital audio this week. A lot of stations satellite tuners were not setup to pass on or decode the Dolby Digital audio.

I like THIS TV. Lots of movies on there without having to subscribe to cable. I dropped my cable to save some bucks. There were just to many channels that I was just not watching. But now I get Retro Newwork and THIS TV. I'm happy.

Weigel Broadcasting is the force behind "This TV." It's okay, but very pale when compared with their Me TV stations in Chicago and Milwaukee and Me Too in Chicago. Those are where it's really at!

This TV is just a taste of what these guys are capable of.
