No Way Back Weekend?

I was cruising up and a down the dial a few times while in the car this weekend. I noticed that 96.5 TIC wasn't playing their usual mix of 70's-80's-90's hits. Have they dumped the Way Back weekend? I didn't listen for lung unfortunately, because TIC still has a terrible signal east of New Haven on I-95.

Looks like they moved it to online. If you go to their site, they now have a "Wayback channel" that you can click on.

That sucks. The Way Back Weekend was fun to listen to. At least I can get XM's 80s on 8 channel at work.

The Way Back Weekend was the only time I listened to WTIC. I guess I can delete it from my preset buttons now.

I'd listen to 'TIC more if I could get a better signal.

Instead of the wayback weekend why couldn't they dump craig and crap during the week? they would save 300k and have a chance at better ratings

Good point. Perhaps they could move Damon Scott to mornings. He's much more entertaining to listen to, IMHO.

How long has Craig been on TIC-FM? 25 years? excluding his brief stint on KSS in the 80's???

Gary Craig was with WKSS-FM from about 1993 to early 1996 or so. I believe he started with WTIC-FM in 1981, only to be fired in 1992. His current run with TIC has been since 1996.
