No WCBS Digital Subchannels

Just out of curiosity, why doesn't WCBS have any digital subchannels? Seems odd for a #1 market. Do any other CBS O&O's have subchannels?
 
Nope. It's a CBS mandate, don't degrade the HD. Good for them, glad they care so much, and I wish I had a station like that.

Personally I think that's pretty lame of them. I'd save the pure HD for those with cable/satellite/FIOS and add at least one additional offering on OTA TV.
 
If anything, cable/satellite compress the stuff MORE so it looks even worse. No pure HD picture there. If they don't do it OTA, it simply won't be done.
