No "workforce blocks" on WMMR?

Have been in calls for work and just fired up WMMR at 12:55pm to hear them come out of a commercial with a standard sweeper into a track. After years of Pierre extending the "workforce blocks" into the 1pm hour, that sounded weird.

But, looked at their playlist for the past hour and... no blocks? Surprised as I really thought a bunch of his signature features (coffee break music marathon, workforce blocks, vinyl cut) would just be permanent fixtures at this point, regardless of whoever ends up in the timeslot.

Have they even filled the time slot yet? Maybe it was just the computer set to automation. It would be great to see someone come along to carry on those traditions but you have to remember that it’s possible whoever gets the gig may be on the younger side and might never have even operated a turntable, let alone know how to “cue” up a record.

Just to add some context, in the past - even when Pierre was on vacation - whoever was filling-in would still do the "work force blocks" during the noon hour.

Completely get that the slot is going to be open for a while and there's not likely a plan there, but was surprised long-running features like that had already been paused or dropped.
