Non-ABC stations carrying "Katie"

The New Katie Couric talk show will make its debut on September 10th, but it will NOT neccesarily be shown over Most ABC Stations, as I have found what stations "Katie" will be carrying;

Eight from NBC:
WTLV-12 Jacksonville (Sister to ABC Station WJXX)
WESH-2 Orlando
WSMV-4 Nashville
KING-5 Seattle
KTVB-7 Boise
KGW-8 Portland, OR
KCRA-3 Sacramento
KSL-5 Salt Lake City

Two From CBS:
KMOV-4, St. Louis
KOTV-6, Tulsa

And, Two from FOX:
WVUE-8, New Orleans
KVVU, Las Vegas

Did I leave any Non-ABC city out?

You can go to katiecouric.com to find out.

Not an actual list, you have to enter your zip code.

Also, there are no time slots yet

You left out WPMI-TV, the NBC station for the designated market area of Mobile, Alabama-Pensacola, Florida.

KHQ in Spokane and KNVN in Chico, CA (both NBC affiliates). KNVN is already advertising it as airing at 3 pm, which makes me wonder what will happen to Anderson. I wouldn't be surprised if it moves takes over Nate Berkus' slot of 2 pm, or moves to sister station KHSL (CBS affiliate).

That site must read one's ISP number! I didn't enter any zip code and what happened? The logo for WTNH-TV (ABC) channel 8 of New Haven popped up. Kind of like when you play a clip of Jimmy Kimmel Live from ABC's web site. :)

Adding two more

KNDO/23 Yakima [NBC]
KNDU/25 Pasco [NBC]

Here are some non-ABC affiliates carrying Katie that I found:

WSBT-TV (CBS) South Bend, IN (might also be rebroadcasted on subchannel SBT2 in the evening hours, like they did with Oprah)

WDTN (NBC) Dayton, OH

WCMH-TV (NBC) Columbus, OH

WISC-TV (CBS) Madison, WI

WAND-TV (NBC) Decatur, IL

Now while this is an ABC affiliate carrying Katie, WZZM Grand Rapids, MI only covers the northern part of the market, in order to protect WTVG Toledo, OH on the same RF channel. Grand Rapids has 2 separate ABC affiliates, & WOTV won't be carrying the show (at least not now). So except for pay TV, those with OTA antennas won't get WZZM if they live in the southern part of the market. Also, WZZM & WOTV do not simulcast outside of network programming, due to separate owners of the stations.

KSBW 8 in Salinas will get Katie's show at 10 AM right after Today (KSBW owned by Hearst like it's sister station KCRA(p), does not carry the 4th hour of Today) Currently, Anderson's show is at 10 AM, but that will change this fall.

KBAK CBS 29 in Bakersfield will also get Katie's show as well, but it'll air before The Price is Right at 9 AM weekdays.

It would appear that a lot of Hearst-owned stations will be carrying this show. However, Heart owns the ABC affiliate in Portland, WMTW, but they decided not to go with it; instead it went to WCSH.

KOAA 5 Pueblo CO [2PM]
WVVA 6 Bluefield, WV [2PM]

Both are affiliates of NBC.

So are KTVF (Fairbanks) and KTUU (Anchorage); they'll carry Katie at 2:00 and 4:00 respectively.

For KTVF, that means FOUR STRAIGHT HOURS of talk this fall (Anderson Cooper, Dr, Oz, and Ellen DeGeneres will all stay put)!!!!!!

No, you mentioned WSMV. Here it is again:

Still, since it is a syndicated show, I don't see the big deal of a non-ABC station carrying it, especially since Katie has been on all three of the "big three" networks during her career.

Agreed, and even bigger is Fox stations like WNYW airing 'Anderson Live' as Anderson's primetime show on CNN competes with Fox News's primetime. Not a big deal though as Fox News leans very different anyways and it likely doesn't even view CNN as a competitor, but if that floats, Katie on non-ABC stations is even less big deal.

Speaking of the cross networks: One thing that I do see on "CBS This Morning" is it shows clips from the night before, from TBS's "Conan", and Comedy Central's "Daily Show" and "Colbert Report". TBS and CBS have no affiliation that I am aware of, but Conan at times jokes about NBC, a CBS rival.

CBS and Comedy Central are no longer related either, as Viacom and CBS are no longer directly co-owned. I think the Conan clips are interesting, but I suppose it'd be even weirder if "CBS This Morning" started running clips of Jimmy Kimmel.
