non-commercial educational station

Hi-
I am new to this forum. I was curious - are there any non-commercial educational stations in Nashville?
Thanks for any help,
tnrunner

Is there anyplace left that *doesn't* have at least one non-commercial station?

Yes, WNPT-TV. Also, on FM:

Religious stations:
88.1 WRSN/Lebanon (Catholic?)
88.3 (Clarksville) & 88.7 (Nashville) Way FM (contemporary Christian)
89.1 (Nashville) & 91.5 (Dickson) whatever their new calls are/Bott religious talk
90.7 KAWZ/Brentwood low-power relayer of Twin Falls, Idaho religious station
AM 710/FM 91.7 (Murfreesboro) Moody Bible Institute

College stations:
88.1 WFSK/Fisk Univ.
88.5 WVCP/Vol State Community College
91.9 WAPX/Austin Peay State University

NPR stations:
89.5 WMOT Middle Tennessee Public Radio news, classical, jazz
90.3 WPLN-FM Nashville Public Radio news/talk
91.1 WFCL Nashville Public Radio classical still licensed to Vanderbilt University pending FCC approval of sale
AM 1430 WPLN Nashville Public Radio news/talk

How many did I miss?

I live in Pegram, and both of those come in like they are right next door to me! :)

89.1 is now WECV, but I believe 91.5 retained WNRZ. Not sure about that, though.

It would be technically correct to say that non-commercial/educational stations are in a separate category from LPFM, but as a practical matter, it might be proper to also list:

WRFN-LPFM in Pasquo. 98.9

Can't believe I missed WRFN...

Also, 88.3 WMTS, the student station at MTSU in Murfreesboro.

I have a vague recollection of a religious LPFM out there somewhere -- Dickson?

firepoint525: I'd bet 88.3 blasts in at Pegram! Transmitter is on the 102.5 tower in northeastern Dickson Co. (102.5 is licensed to Pegram these days)

They have moved over to 107.1. Probably a good thing, since 98.7/98.9 is a bit crowded around here.
