non commercial stations question

I didn't think non commercial stations would even show up in the ratings, but in Radio-info's ratting system they are showing? How does that work?

Noncoms have always been rated, as otherwise the extent of radio listening could not be measured.

In the diary markets, noncoms are not listed in Arbitrends or the data released to the press. However, sucbscribers who use Maximiser, the Arbitron diary survey report software, have been able to see non-com ratings since, I believe, Maximiser debuted over 10 years ago.

In the PPM, noncoms are shown in all reports, including the freebies issued to the press 8which are based on useless demos, wheich is why they give it away!)
