Non-NBC Stations Getting Cozi

I don't see Cozi coming to Denver (At least anytime soon) UNLESS KZCO-LD moves to its own DTV setup & off of mothership KMGH 7 (Not likely to happen). I also don't see either KWGN 2 or KDVR 31 picking it up in addition to ThisTV & Antenna TV either

As for Gannett, I can't see them being very interested since they already have MeTV on KTVD 20.2

JMO.....

Cheers & 73 :D

could whdh in Boston add it and make it 7.3??

A great place for the new NBCU's Classic-TV channel would be Washington Post Broadcasting"s NBC Stations KPRC in Houston & Detroit's WDIV. I hope they're getting COZI on New Year's Day 2013...

What does KUSA-TV (NBC) channel 9 have for subchannels?
A News/Weather channel called 9NEWS Now on KUSA-DT 9.2 (A channel I think they'd rather not give up) &MeTV is on KTVD-DT 20.2

BTW - KMGH 7 (ABC) has KZCO-LD 27 on 7.2 HAD Cool TV on 7.3 & have a news channel called NewsChannel 24/7 on 7.4 & Indie KCDO 3 is on a subchannel of an LP itself so KCDO 3 is incapable of carrying Cozi

KCNC 4 wouldn't carry it anyway EVEN IF they did make use of their subs because they're a CBS O&O

Cheers & 73 :D

In Tallahassee Florida we have WTWC-NBC 40 as (40.2) used to be Cool Music TV now its a blank screen or dark I was wonder if COZI-TV will go to Sinclair stations? I havent hread anything if Antenna TV network will be adding anytime soon or add more tv stations.

40.1 (NBC HD)
40.2 (blank/dark) used to be The Cool Music TV
40.3 (TCN) The Country Network

Unfortunately this probably won't happen as at this point the P-NW stations are barely grudging affiliates of NBC who will pre-empt anything that doesn't get ratings or has gambling for paid programming or This TV films (i.e. Last Call is on after 2am).

I have a suspicion that NBC is applying the screws to its affiliates to carry COZI TV, just as ABC seems to have done with Live Well Network.

Probably not. WHDH isn't in the habit of doing favors for NBC unless required. Where it could wind up is on WBIN 50.3, which used to be Cool TV but now just repeats the main channel. It already has clearance on Comcast systems in the Boston area, and WBIN had earlier carried Universal Sports (another NBC related channel).

Scripps doesn't have any stations with RTV. They have Live Well in each of their markets, and one that also broadcasts Bounce TV. Their legacy (non McGraw-Hill) stations, for the most part, only have LWN.

I my town the NBC affiliate the subchannels are already filled with "This" and "Bounce" They could add another subchannel, but the bit rate might have to be lowered too much. Bounce is already pixelated especially on action scenes. Adding more channels would make it worse. We have some stations that have no subchannels at all,or just a weather map. they could add something but they have made no effort to do so.
We don't have RTV anymore, and I'd like to see TNN or a music channel added

Again.....Not KMGH 7 in Denver

According to the "reliable sources" at Wikipedia, they will soon.

I don't know about Cozi, but ABC has programmed Livewell Network so it could be marketed to stations that are independent, CBS, NBC, CW, or Fox. If NBC is planning to market Cozi TV to mainly NBC affiliates, then Cozi TV will fail, like the Nonstop Network did. NBC will have to program the channel in a way that it doesn't rely on NBC programming (for new shows, since it's not a 100% classic TV network).

Also carrying Cozi but not yet mentioned: NBC's Vegas affiliate, KSNV/3.
