beb, kyw, mmr, mgk, xtu in the top 6, and the only 2 rock formats on the dial in the top 5, what does this tell everyone. The philly audiance is fed up with the junk on the airwaves.

I'm pleased to see real results via PPM. cRap, hip hop, et al isn't all it's cracked up to be, I reckon. And, imagine if Philly had a REAL rock station. I grant you, it's my own taste, but I'd love an AAA station on the FM, something like what WIOQ did back in the day. I'm 47 (I know, I may as well be dead for terrestrial radio) but I cannot believe someone out there isn't interested in my discretionary income.

When I'm home and can access the Internet, I listen to nothing terrestrial, except Rush and Smerconish on 'PHT. Nuff said!

None of this matters. According to the ad agencies, the rap/hip hop audience is the most impressionable and the audience "most likely to believe anything you tell (or sell) them." There is your target demo. That's according to a friend of mine in the advertising business.

This should make the rock audience feel good because you are all too smart to fall for "This part of our program is brought to you by..."

Oh yeah! They are probably the most likely to commit murder in the City of 'Brotherly' Love. Glad I live in the far suburbs!

Ad Agencies think too much.
