NORAD Tracking Santa Claus

Do any radio stations still air the NORAD tracking Santa Claus feature on Christmas Eve? I first became aware of it in the early 1960's. The pre-recorded segments were timed for airing from late afternoon up into the evening and night and featured "reports" advising the areas that Santa and his sleigh were reaching.

I recall in that cold war period of the early 60's when my father heard one of the "reports" and voiced concern that someone might mistake it for something else; like the Orson Welles' "War of the Worlds" broadcast.

There is an on-line website: www.noradsanta.org that provides this service, but just wondered if any radio stations still air it?

Boy, the last time I remember hearing that was on WWSW, Pittsburgh. Sometime in the late
70's I think.

I air it every year on my internet radio station (from 3am to 4am Christmas Eve / Day Central time), but I don't hear any broadcasters around here running it.

I have no clue why they don't; most stations are locked up tight as a drum on Christmas. Why not add a little spice and interest to the programming? It would take only a few minutes to program into their automation systems, and they'd have something unique to the market.
