Ted Bassani was the morning anchor on WNAW (and their only newsguy)and did a lot of investigative reporting. From what I've heard, he had a lot of issues with management of Vox after they turned their afternoon newsman into a DJ at WSBS...leaving WNAW without an afternoon newsman/reporter. Since Bassani left, the quality of WNAW news has no doubt sunk to new lows. North Adams FM WMNB gets their news out of WUPE in Pittsfield with some good stuff on that statiion.
