North Dallas1650...All Artifacts, Reedited , skips, and Breakdowns all the time.

I find this the most re-creative station on line. It's one oldie station that will take you back and make you feel the closest to the 60's 70's. It'a also has become the most frustrating to listen too.
I don't what server, streaming host their using, but this station is starting to become a streaming disaster. I'm forced many times to stop listening, and have had to change it several times. Records that are 3:00 long, become 1:15. If you were to bet to listen to Hey Jude in it's entirety....you would win the state lottery anywhere. What goes on with this? It sounds like a drunken board operator running the music. It's a shame, I like to listen...but it drives you crazy. Especially when you have it on in the car. Anyone who listens to this feels the same way?

I haven't encountered any of this. At least not to a significant degree when I've listened online. I'm personally not a fan of the processing....but there's a valid historical reason for it being the way it is.

And indeed the overall effect is very much an accurate recreation of how much of top-40 radio actually sounded in the mid and late 60a.

I'm not sure what could be causing that. Maybe Buffering on your end?
or maybe encoder issues.

Don't blame me. I have this on the Squeezebox, Roku, phone apps and Comcast 12 mb and higher. Everyone of my other presets work perfectly. I've heard this station even crash a few times and everything looks well on my end. I use the Tune-In portal. Maybe you listen to this station only 30 seconds a day, and yes you'll get by perfectly with that. Right now.....it's been sounding well mechanically. I only heard a nano second blip so far.
