Northampton/Springfield Ma pirate????

"The Beat-101.7" a rap station broadcasting in mono, no less.....What is this station????
 
I don't think he'd be getting 101.7 up there. I'm in New Britain yet I get almost nothing from that station.
 
I first noticed the station, a bit north of Northampton, and I continued to receive it on I-90 heading west, until it was overtaken by 101.7-WBRK-Pittsfield. It sounded semi-professional, with a half way decent too.
As I also mentioned before, they were broadcasting in mono. This was at about 1AM Friday night. Perhaps it is a pirate, that broadcasts rather selectively....
 
It could be long island, I mean why not? The right weather conditions can do amazing things, I mean how else would I get Frank FM 107.5 in Portland Maine at random on my car radio driving about in central CT?
