Well, considering there is a 101.7, WBRK-FM in Pittsfield about 45 (or so) miles west of you which runs a AC format in Stereo, it's unlikely that it is them. So, 5 will get you 10, "IT'S A BOOT" (pirate)! The Springfield/Hartford/Northampton area has had a long history of pirate operations over the years (99.7, 87.9.... et.al.). Oh, yeah... 106.3 (Northampton) now a legit frequency for a licensed FM'er.

too bad that there's not a rock & roll pirate that could've broadcast the Jefferson Starship show last week in Northampton.
