Northshore 104.7 is now Smooth Jazz. Another bright idea from Dowdy. It didn't work when it was Smooth Jazz under Styles Broadcasting, so why would it work now? Maybe the cows in Franklinton and Folsom are listening.

But my guess is they will go after WNOE/New orleans instead of KCIL/Houma by the application with the FCC?

Actually, they're running JRN's Smooth Jazz satellite service.

http://wxjz.fm/

This station also runs the same satellite format. It's a few seconds behind what you can hear on 104.7, but it's the exact same music and DJ's.

Therefore, it can be run cheaply. Like Pittman is doing in Lafayette.

In fact, you could listen to 105.9 or 106.3 in Lafayette and hear the exact same thing.<P ID="signature">______________
