I've noticed on some of the other boards there has been discussion about local radio from the 60's & 70's.What was radio like in the Portland area back then? I've heard about the "Big Jab", WLOB. What were WGAN,WCSH,,WPOR like? What was on FM? I've been around here since the early seventies and I remember WJTO am 730 in Bath sounding really good as a Top 40.There was a guy on afternoons Jeff Ryder that was pretty good.In the 80's I remember WASY 1590 being a real good oldies station with a guy named Big Ange in the afternoon. In Bob Anderson's obit it said he worked at WPOR,what was the format back then?
