On a sunny spring afternoon in the late 60's....driving down Bellaire Blvd....passing the Drive In Theater before Hillcroft....listenimg to Houston's own Fun & Games Commision (Grooviest Girl In The World) on the Big 610..... pulling into Globe Shopping City (Where you always Save More),,,,and buying the latest 45 rpm's for 77 cents.... (Dr. Hook Reference) AH BEAUTIFUL!
 
That would be the Sharpstown Drive In Theatre, My 1956 DeSoto had a huge trunk. It was enough room for a couple of freinds and a cooler of beer.
