Not Sure How Often This Happens....

...But I wanted to share that the recently returned Party 93.1 is accepting 60 minute mixes from DJ's. If you're interested go to the following link for more information:

http://party931.com/features/djdownload.html

I view it as the more exposure you get, the better. If you decide to submit a mix if you could mention Party 93.1 Lives! sent you it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reading. :)

Just make sure that when you air the mixes that each song is individually tagged and displayed on the player. Another idiotic rule brought to you by the DMCA. I'm still not sure why you just can't report, in a log, what your playing but the law is the law and most stations are playing with fire by not following this rule.

Tag each change or post on website within an our (or something like that). I know there was an option for 'live' shows.

Thats gonna be hard to tag each song in a mixset,,, Isnt the automation system just going to recignize a nonstop mix as a single track such as (MidwestClubber's After Hours Beats).....lol Yeah i know that sounds pretty funny,, its spur of the moment and the first cheesy name I could come up with.. Note to all Board Members... Remember never to listen to that mix show.... :D

Anyway, enough about me,, but you get my point right.. Even when XM and Sirius air therir mixshows it only lists the DJ playing, and the name of the mixshow.

MikeO,

I know that for live shows on Live365 they have to post the songs as they happen. I've never been told about a website posting option from their legal department. I can't conform with the sitting there and posting song id's as they are happening so I choose not to run the mix shows that I could.

MidwestClubber,

Yes, as do almost all of the major streaming stations like AOL. That doesn't mean that it's legal. ;) I'm not even sure if Satellite has to follow those rules. Others may be able to answer that. I just know what I've been told by Live365's legal department and by lawyers from some of the major labels.

Does it matter where the dj's are from? Because I can send you some stuff if you'd like.....
