Note to KKMY, Orange

Your unnecessary translator, 103.3 in Beaumont, broadcasts your programming many seconds earlier than your actual transmitter on 104.5. I realize that your excuse is that it takes longer for the signal to get from the CC cluster studios at I-10 on the curve to Orange than it does to the translator right down the road, but this is unacceptable. Please turn off your unnecessary translator at this time as it also blocks listeners in the Beaumont area from listening to KBIU in Lake Charles. Maybe that it is Clear Channel's intention, since KBIU is owned by Cumulus, a competitor.

I think their reason for the delay on 104.5 is because they are in HD (Or were last time I checked).

I realize that. I just think the 103.3 frequency in Beaumont is unnecessary.

So? Just because YOU THINK it's unnecessary, doesn't mean it is.

THe licensee obviously operates it, pays the tower rent and everything because there is some kind of use for it.
