First I want to apoligize for bringing up a topic that was already discussed. I just noticed that day Directv was scrolling that they were dropping i/PAX.
A couple of years ago Directv tried dropping PAX but later decided to keep it in thier line-up. I guess Directv has been trying for awhile now to drop the channel and yes it is a waste if that's all they are going to air.

As for scrolling back, Anybody correct me if I'm wrong. I only check the first page to see if something has come up for discussion. Especially when I believe it to be new news. I did scroll back and found the thread and the first post says rumoured not definitely being droped. I think there is a difference between rumour and definitly. So as I see it my new thread is somewhat different than the original. I also know for a fact that once in awhile thread will go on forever and someone will do a part2 so the original thought does nt get lost.
I am not trying to be a smart A??. Just want to give you my thought.

Thank You
Edited by kenwood on 02/15/06 05:36 AM.

So what does this have to do with National TV again?

You couldn't just drop him a private email huh?

Ahh...NOW the light bulb goes on...

If you had read the whole thread, you would have found that a subsequent post contained a link to the notice on DirecTV's website confirming the drop.

It pays to read the entire thread in circumstances like this.
______________

My mailbox is already full of e-mails from disgruntled posters who tell me to "get a life" and other things that can't be printed on a public access message board.

I particularly enjoy one person's misguided attempt to annoy me by constantly resubscribing me to a newsletter, ignorant of the fact that I get a confirmation e-mail which allows me to unsubscribe before even the first day passes.

Sticks. Stones. Names. Big Deal.

I honestly don't know why people are wasting time here posting about PAX/i. It's an insignificant broadcaster that barely musters a rating.

Thank you for returning to the topic, Doc.

Well, that too. :)

However, what would be worth discussing is whether this move will have any impact on the PaxNet stations. Is the loss of satellite carriage going to add any nails to the coffin, and what else has to happen for the remaining nails to be added?
______________
