Why is there not a single radio station in Montgomery,Alabama that I can listen to? I guess I better subscribe to satelite radio

I DONT HAVE ANYTHING AGAINST RADIO PEOPLE-- JUST OWNERS-- I KNOW THE JOX CANT DO (BLEEP) ABOUT THE STATE OF RADIO. I HAVE ALOT OF CAPABLE FRIENDS WHO HAVE TO PLAY THE SAME FRIGGING SONGS AND READ THE SAME RIDICULOUS LINERS-- I CANT DO IT ANYMORE

So now...We've established that radio truly sux everywhere...not just in Montgomery....and you know why...its these large radio groups(Clear Channel,Cumulus,etc...) and their consultants that have taken radio to an all-time low ...and thats a real shame too!

So now...We've established that radio truly sux everywhere...not just in Montgomery....and you know why...its these large radio groups(Clear Channel,Cumulus,etc...) and their consultants that have taken radio to an all-time low ...and thats a real shame too!

I have to agree. Birmingham is got to be the most atrocious radio market in the state even though its the largest. I listen to hip hop and R&B mainly, and I don't listen to a single station in town except Kiss FM every now and then. If I want to listen to any quality current music when I am actually at home, I turn to the internet. I have officially come to the conclusion that if you are between 18 and 40 years old and want listen to any quality hip hop and R&B that's not gangsta rap or crunk music don't live in Birmingham. <P ID="signature">______________

You just reminded me of some interesting DX I got on Friday morning: WLOR "Jammin' 1550" heard at my sister's house in Excel on a cheap 5" TV/radio.
From what little I heard for 10-15 minutes, they would've made a pretty interesting Urban AC--if they were on FM or a clear AM somebody in Huntsville could hear (ha ha).<P ID="signature">______________
