Well, DUH. What other option do they have? There's no FM tuner in most phones, and most of them only cary one device - their smart phone. Extra storage is more likely to go to pictures, video, and other media than music since they can get that from an app.

Which means that 89% of the people in their cars are still listening to radio. They're probably the same people who listened to CDs or cassettes in an earlier era. No surprise there.
Is there any other media in the world that reaches nearly 90 of the audience that wrings its hands about "the future" as much as radio does?
