Notice Box Not Playing Songs z93 Jamz Does

Lose My Mind - Young Jeezy
Beamer Benz or Bentley - Lloyd Banks

Anyother songs Box doesn't play but z93 Jamz does? Saw this from yes.com

92.5 The Box is playing mostly Hip-Hop with some R&B to keep female listeners. Z93 JAMZ lean has always been R&B. Hip-Hop has always had a main void in Charleston since HOT 98.9 flipped.

Your right about that z93 does lean more R&B then The Box. Its to bad The Box cant play all hip hop without the R&B.

You're right. HOT 107.9 here in Atlanta was all Hip-Hop years ago, but R&B was eventually added to get more ratings. I hope Sean Mack at 92.5 stays on top of all the new Hip-Hop music, especially from the South. I will give Z93 credit for playing a lot of new music first, but that new music is always R&B joints.

Surprised Apex wouldn't just leave R&B for Star. They should just see what the ratings are like going stright back to back hip hop with no R&B.

The R&B you hear on 92.5 THE BOX is today's R&B from Trey Songz, Chris Brown, Dondria, etc. It's the young R&B that STAR 99.7 rarely plays. Females are the money maker so that R&B is thrown in on 92.5 to keep them glued in.

PS..Kelly Blaze can't wait to hear ya on air!

Beamer Benz & Bentley is playing right now-this may be the first time it has played.

Rickey Smiley Morning Show starts May 3rd at 6AM.

Who are the on air personalities going to be?

Charlamagne Tha God's show "Concrete Jungle" goes on air May 8th from 2pm-6pm. On May 9th he'll launch a new local artist show called "Next In Line" airing every Sunday from 7pm-9pm. Im wondering if Sean Mack will be back on air since he's still with WIHB.

92.5 THE BOX has been playing Lil Wayne "I'm Single" pretty heavy and its only a mixtape song not to mention they've been playing Gucci Mane's Mixtape hit "I Think I Luv Her" too eventhough its pretty old but still shows that they are serious about the Hip-Hop and aren't just playing mainstream stuff but street hits as well.

Mixshows are coming too. Thats a chance to hear more new music not heard in town. Im glad they're heavy on what the streets is listening to.

Z 93 needs to come up with a slogan like they are thinking out side the box.

You ain't lyin. If they really are who they say they are they would come up with something like "Charleston's BIG Station" or "Charleston's Hip-Hop And R&B Leader". I'm tired of hearing "R&B and HipHop Flava" soundz like they reaching. Z93 needs to come up with something cause not only are they losing mixshow dj's but they're losing listeners fast. I admit the freegas and free cash is a good idea.

Can't wait to hear the mixshows cause I know Thundakat DJ's are going to put it down both DJ Tantrum and DJ Kub be having the clubs goin crazy and their ears are open to what the streets want to hear. Plus DJ Kub has a connection with the local artists, so this will also give local artists such as Yung Rome, Mista Tayor, etc. a chance to be heard like they should be. Can't even remember the last time Z93Jamz did a mixshow and broadcasted local artists.

"R&B and Hip-Hop Flava" can't believe they are still using this as the main positioner. I have heard them mention "Charleston's Only Station for R&B and Hip" as well as "Chuctown's #1". Notice: R&B before Hip-Hop!
