Not a big surprise. iHeart news/talkers saw big increases, with the pre-election fever going through the roof. Especially with the number of trips the president made to Phoenix. All that listening didn't translate to votes however.

It's interesting that KTAR or KJAZ didn't share in the election increases.

KNIX too a bit of a hit, but is still good enough for #2. Buck sends season's greetings! Santa looks a lot like Buck.

Well said. KFYI's news department is probably a fifth that of KTAR's, but none of that "live on the scene" reporting apparently mattered. And how ironic that 92~Three's shift to the right with the hire of Mike Broomfield hasn't helped them. But his absence from KFYI hasn't hurt them. This monthly was the equivalent of All Ho-Ho-Ho Music for KFYI.

Not only that, but, according to Chris Huff, KFYI’s November numbers are the highest share on 550 since it was AC KOY back in 1980, a whopping 40 years ago. What’s old is new again on Phoenix radio with those numbers. The last time 550 was #1, that infamous Gremlin of yours Doc was a brand new car! Yikes!!

Actually the Gremlin was four years old last time 5~Fifty was numero uno. But ya know, when we drove it off the lot it depreciated at least ten years!

Can a "Rush Room" at Tom's Tavern be far behind?

Oh...wait. Maybe not...
