The cool thing is it even has the old school satellite locations for downlink....that and they were getting Bloomberg via Directv ;)

2nd card shows changes
16 TVLAND
30 CNBC
32 CMT
33 ANIMAL PLANET
34 HIGH SCHOOL PLAYOFFS/WB
35 MTV
36 TLC

The 2nd card has to be after 2007 as on 34 it says "HS playoffs/WB" because in the corner you see it says "WB-49.2" WCIX Springfield is the only 49-2 out there but WCIX wasnt ever a WB (they were UPN then My). But in 2007 Nexstar started carrying the HS tourney

Its interesting they carried Iowa Public TV from Iowa City (the mothership) instead of the local "satellite" in Quad Cities....or even WQPT Quad Cities.

This is a pic from the cable headend when it existed and you can see it says "in 12 out 12"....above there is the one for Fox 18 (which was on 7)

Could the "49.2" actually have referred to the RF channel 49 of KLJB (virtual 18) Davenport, IA? (who formerly simulcast sister station KGWB-26 Burlington--now KGCW--on their .2 subchannel?).

Nova Cable's lineup today after entering Cameron's zip code (61423):

Ironically, the Warren County seat (and home of a liberal arts college) 7 miles west of Cameron, Monmouth, has a cursed Comcast lineup that hasn't changed much since the late 90s and the end of the TCI era in Illinois (which I've shared before IIRC in the "Worst Cable Systems" thread):

From what I've seen, Nova Cable has had decent lineups for the communities of their size. However, their only system in Peoria County, in the unincorporated (but decent-sized) community of Trivoli, is a cursed lineup:

Interestingly, Trivoli is surrounded by communities (e.g., Elmwood, Farmington, Hanna City, Yates City, Glasford) with a common, decent Medicom lineup--although IMO it looks "cursed" compared to other Mediacom service areas. But IMO if Nova doesn't want to improve their Trivoli lineup perhaps Mediacom could pick up the cable rights for Trivoli:

I thought of that but it was more of wouldnt Illinois subs want to see Illinois HS sports and not Iowa?

The Davenport and Burlington affiliates are part of the Quad Cities (IA/IL) DMA--and IIRC KGWB had the local market rights to Illinois High School Association tournaments for a number of years (but not sure if that's still true today).
