Nova... no disassemble Number 5!!!

Got a chance to listen to the Dog's replacement yesterday, and it sounds like they're trying to position themselves somewhere between AAA and Hot AC. It's not a bad-sounding station, actually being jockless is an improvement over Palmieri's voicetracks that were always recorded too low to be heard over the music. However, I wonder what CC's strategy with this station is. While they may well peel some cume from 93Q and Sunny, the station that could get hurt the most by this change is their own Y94.

Yes! Thank god The Dog is finally dead! I agree, the new format sounds pretty good. However, I wonder how long they will remain jockless? Also, NOVA is a lot more rock oriented so I doubt they will hurt Y94.
