Since after going through 90 pages of threads from the past year and not finding a Nov. 7 TDITVH thread from Stanislav from last year, another DIY one is in order for tomorrow. I'll start off with a few dates--feel free to comment/add more of yours (I may have a few more later if I get time):
1957: Actor Christopher Knight (best known as Peter Brady on "Brady Bunch") is born in NYC.
Also in 1957: Wrestler and comedian "King Kong Bundy" is born Chris Pallies in Atlantic City, NJ. He also did make two guest appearances on Fox's "Married With Children" as his wrestling name inspired the name of the Bundy family on the show.
1962: Actress and journalist Tracie Savage is born in Ann Arbor, MI. She was best known in the role of Christy Kennedy on "Little House on the Prairie" from 1974-75 (after auditioning for the role of Laura Ingalls, which went to Melissa Gilbert). She also appeared in "Love, American Style," "Happy Days," and "Here's Boomer." Her journalism credits include WHIO-TV in Dayton, OH from 1986-91, and KNBC-4 in LA from 1994-2001.
1967: President Lyndon B. Johnson signs the Public Broadcasting Act of 1967, which establishes the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
2004: Actor Howard Keel (born Harry Keel in 1919 in Gillespie, IL) dies in Palm Desert, CA. His TV roles include "The Love Boat" and famously as Clayton Farlow on "Dallas" from 1981-91. Keel passed away the same day that "Dallas Reunion: The Return to Southfork" aired on CBS.
