November book and no change again

Top stations 25-54 remain KJAQ, KPLZ, KRWM, KJR. KRWM wins the 6+ number with KPLZ in second. KRWM and KPLZ win women, KJAQ and KJR win men with KZOK. Usual winners in mornings. KBKS wins 18-34. PPM is consistent which makes buying advertising pretty straightforward. Remember the days of discussing the wild changes each month in the good ole diary system. I kind of miss the wild posts as stations trumpeted their success. At least in December we can be assured of some change thanks to the Christmas music effect in PPM. In January it will be back to the usual suspects on top I imagine.

can't help but notice the continuing growth for KIRO-FM

oh yeah, #15 Adults 25-54 is fantastic (up one whole spot from #16 last month). As is #7 Men 25-54 (up from 12th....only major jump), #12 Adults 35-54 (up from 13th) #8 Men 35-54 (up from 9th), #11 Adults 35-64 (down from 10th), #6 Men 35-64 (flat), #9 Adults 35+ (up from 10th) and #6 Men 35+ (up from 8th).

Bonneville must be extremely happy.

Well the year is up and looks like i whiffed on my predictions for the PPM :-\ I just flushed that sheet of paper down the ole turd whirler. Who in their right minds would have said WARM, JACK and STAR would be the big ole champs ??? Pretty easy call for WOLF beating COMPASS. KUBE was overrated and PPM proved that point. News and Talk got killed along with Smooth Jazz which I think every cowboy PD in America could see was comin. That move to FM for KIRO and KOMO really paid off :p Both stations suck worse than when they when they were just AM flamethrowers :-\ When Boneaville is jumping up and down about a 12th place finish, time to blow that sucker up. Moral of the PPM: there is probably room for just one News and Talk station and you got to think KIRO AM/FM is about to come back :-\ Probably room for just one country station and a bunch of other stations will be scratchin their butts over the holidays trying to figure out what the hell to do ??? My bet is MOVIN goes Mainstream CHR, someone takes on WARM (maybe Boneaville makes KIRO-FM a soft AC and puts all news talk and sports back on KIRO AM where it belongs) and someone definitely is going to do THE BREW. Maybe Clear Channel or maybe a good move for Sandsucky's SMooth Jazz to go right after JACK and KJR-FM. Plus WARM will get all the Smooth Jazz softy folks ;D
What a year and what a year to come ;)
