Which is a better number than the previous RadioNow CHR format normally received.KROI wraps up it's "Praise" format with a mere 1.4.
hope they know what an HD radio would be needed to listen HD-2Which is a better number than the previous RadioNow CHR format normally received.
Will be interesting to see if the Praise format pulls numbers when it is on KMJQ HD-2 only. Note that Classical on KUHF HD-2 has been showing up consistently. The Praise format did survive a decade (2011-21) as an HD-2 only service. Listeners to 92.1 should know where it has gone as the station has been using the "102.1 HD-2" branding exclusively for the past 18 months.
KMJQ-HD2 showed up in 26 months with either a 0.1 or 0.2 when Praise was previously HD2 only. Will be interesting to see if the Praise format pulls numbers when it is on KMJQ HD-2 only.
As I said before, it seems like Houston may just not be the market for the typical rock heavy Adult Hits format. Looking at cume, KKHH still has very high cume, so it's possible a lot of people are still tuning in, but then tuning out when they hear a song they don't know or like, or a song that doesn't meet the expectation of what they'll hear on The Spot.So what is going in with The Spot? Seems the numbers have plunged since the most recent playlist changes were implemented. Of course this is 6+; maybe doing better in the target demos?
I see that “Spot” sibling KSPF in DFW has lost half its audience in the past four months, similar playlist tweaks there?
