Now 100.5 (The station without rap music)

I see that CBS hired a PD for Now 100.5. Chad Rufer from WINK FM in Ft. Myers. Anyone familiar with him?

Not anytime soon. FYI, they have been doing very well since the move from "The Zone".

Why would CBS do away with this station? Their ratings are quite good since the re-launch.

I see NOW jobs are posted again. They are "looking to add new air staff in 2011". I can honestly say I would be reluctant. The risk? Being laid off after the next station flip. I would recommend a solid, long term contract. ;D

Was scrolling back through old topics on the Sacramento board and found this thread. They're still around 2+ years later and seem to be doing well. It looks like CBS finally found someone who can do something with 100.5.
