I find it funny that CBS has 2 stations branded as "Now" in the Bay Area and Sacramento. They're totally different approaches of CHR so close on the dial, and both stations come in good east of the East Bay hills.
The Bay's 99.7 Now is a upbeat Rhythmic leaning CHR that has rap in their playlist, while Sacramento's Now 100.5 is a white-washed Adult CHR with the slogan "Today's hits without the rap". Even heard the old morning guy from 99.7 on Sacramento's Now 100.5.
I wonder if CBS even thought of this when re-branding Movin' 99.7 to "Now"?
