NOW FM sounds more like NOT FM!!

I can't believe that with the amount of great talent around the country, and air talents from New York City who have been successful in market #1 and other markets, the PD has these clowns on the air. The "jock" ('cause I cant bring myself to call him an "air talent") just did the dumbest break I have heard in radio in the last 50 years!!!!! He stopped the music to let us know how much he hates interrupting his time of eating a sandwich to do a talk break! He might argue he was tying it in to the the song, but trust me, it did not have anything to do with it. Why not bring in talent like Borasio, Diamond Boy Luis, Billy Hammand, Dimas Martinez, Dangerous Dave Hanson, Danny Valentino, etc.; young jocks who have proven themselves time and time again, and at least don't make this #1 market sound dumber than tornado alley radio!

I'm not too fond of Chunky, he seems to only want ladies to call Now and it seems like his show is tailored for high school kids. TicTak has also changed from his Q102 days, where are the stunts that made his show on Q102 popular? Lisa Paige seems to have that "dumb blonde" personality "like OMG where can I get the best high heeled shoes in New York? I just moved here last month." She wasn't like that on Q102, and she left Q, moved up the Turnpike, and joined Now in less than a week.
I'm willing to bet that you heard Chunky do that dumb mic break. I hear better DJs on a high school station.

The dj's don't have a local sound or in my opinion have a local appeal. Chunky talks about some delivery driver apparently coming into the studio with food....perhaps forgetting that in New York restaurants don't deliver food by vehicle.

It's funny that people slammed Pulse for it's lack of money but the on air talent blows away the on air talent at NOW.

I can't even imagine what NOW was thinking in hiring Chunky... I've tried listening and I just can't do it. There's no talent there that I can find. NOW FM may as well just be 4 obnoxious kids doing a weekly show on some college station out in the woods.

I really hope that this is rock bottom, and that soon someone will have the "radical, out of the box" idea to run a station with a large playlist and talented personalities. It's crazy, but it might just work.

The fat jokes get old quick. They might feel very intimidated that it's New York, and you can really tell. I just don't see the appeal and they really need help on their music.

I have never heard a college station or high school station have DJs that sound like Chunky. Today, he was talking about girls that hate their lovely lady lumps. The other day, he was talking about MILFs every mic break. I used to like TicTak while he was at Q102, but maybe that was because I was a high school freshman back then.

I didn't care much for TicTac or Lisa, but I did find Chunky to be entertaining.

But Pulse does have the better DJs
