To everyone that has ever read from the posts I put on here, thanks for doing it. If you have responded to them thanks too. My only reason for taking a stand against the likes of WBFZ, WYVC, WQLS and WBYE has nothing to do with their presentation(s). I could careless about about their format(s). My only contention with those people is this, if everyone else is supposed to obey the rules of the FCC, then these people should do it too. I've always been taught that no one is above the law. I don't care who you are.
I'm not bitter towards anyone on here. Have no need to get into a flaming match with anyone, that might see things differently than me. Trying to stay civil on these posts. To anyone that feels that I've said things that were out of line, please accept my deepest apology. I'll try my best not to let it happen in the future.
When I see something going on and I know it to be unlawful I still plan on speaking up on it. Will no longer talk about Camden or those other radio stations I spoke of in my first sentence. I know what they stand for and understand fully well that they will never comply with the FCC. Someone will have to end up forcing them to do it. This means making people broadcast with the legally licensed amount of power they are allowed to have, stop broadcasting all kinds of ads, making the station shut down if they don't renew their license on time and keeping their public informed when bad weather hits.
I still stick up for people like Mr. Paul Alexander, Gower and Brother Rob Moore from Moody Radio South because they are professional in their doings and I can tell that when I listen to their presentations. Have no future plans of ditching them as influences of mine. I don't care who has an issue with that. Those fine examples are helping me learn the right way to run a radio station and how to conduct my business in a orderly manner. Still trying to establish my own return to this wonderful business, as I post this.
Now if anyone feels that my previous postings were out of line and should not have been placed here, I want to apologize for that. I want to set a right tone and spirit for everyone else here, that continues to post with me. I'll try my best not to talk in an uncivil way. All I'll do is state the truth and let the chips fall where they may.
Thanks to the moderator(s) for allowing this 41 year old slightly handicapped person to continue to post on here. I enjoy learning the ins and outs of this business anyway. Want my radio station to be very lawful and compliant with the FCC anyway. I don't want to be influenced by someone's bad example anyway. It will only hurt me and my bottom line, in the long run.
As I post this, some tears are coming to my eyes. I know that saying these things is a bit hard but I wanted to get this off my chest. Glad I did it.
