So, I expect a pop from KEGL. I expect a bump in overall 12+. I am interested to see who it comes from, I think ZPS suffers which would be a blow to CC. I also think the WBAP am-fm experiment will show no movement. Thoughts? we have what, 11 days?

I would've guessed that being on AM & FM would send WBAP to number one. Hasn't so far, let's see what happens this time. Want to see where KSKY lands as well. I'm always surprised that they're not higher in the ratings. They have some good shows on weekdays. Haven't really listened to them much on weekends. As per the norm, Ed Wallace will probably be KLIF's only show that's number one in it's time slot.

was going to come back & modify my post to not be slamming KLIF, but it's too late. Ed Wallace Will likely be number one in his time slot. I should've worded that a bit differently to start with.....

Wait for the fall to judge the results from the WBAP-FM simulcast. Summer is traditionally a down time for news/talkers.

May all CBS, Citadel, Cumulus, Radio One, Salem and Clear Channel stations plummet in share & Cume by at least 5 points. Everyone else have a nice day.

Does Ed (car talk) out score John Clay Wolfe on KEGL (Car Talk) or Jerry Reynolds WBAP (Car Talk) Saturday mornings. JCW told me while back that he was whipping Ed on their overlapping hour of 8-9A, then it's unmeasurable bc JCW goes syndicated 9-12 while Ed Stays on KLIF 9-1. I think Reynolds is BAP 9-11, then syndicated 11-1.

A while back (couple of months, as I recall) Ed Wallace (during his show) was thanking his listeners for making his show number one in it's time slot.

JCW emailed me few months ago a PPM's report showing him at 30,000 (18+) for his 8 o clock hour on The Eagle, 7 o clock was about half that. I really don't know what that is in comparison to the other car talkers on DFW Weekends. I know he was determined to pass Ed, and claimed he achieved that in 60 days on KRLD FM. I'd be interested in seeing the real numbers side by side, Jerry included. I've listened to all those car shows for years.

KHKS goes down and ZPS goes up...in Summer...That's weird.

Not so weird for KISS: They lose a lot of listeners every summer in AM & PM drive because kids aren't in the car every day going to and coming from school.

True, but they gain (should) huge share in mids and late night. I just find it odd. and ZPS, explain THAT! Good for them.
