Now it's time for Jammin 94.1 to make some improvements

A bigger playlist would probably do the trick. Maybe tap into 80s and 90s dance and r&b more. I'm gona create a playlist of music they could play on there. If you have any suggestions for songs, make some.

It would be great if Jammin 94.1 would follow Jammin 105.9 in Austin but I wouldn't count on it. At one point, Jammin 94.1 was a Top 5 station and briefly #1 in their demos. Since then they've been tumbling downward. One reason is their tight playlist, the other is the reduction of 80's music such New Edition, Bobby Brown, En Vogue, Stevie B. and others. Unfortunately, we can look for more of the same from Jammin 94.1

Congrats 94.1, you just lost a listener

Well if it wasn't for KMFR simucasting on 105.9 in my area, I'd try to capture Jammin 105.9 in Austin. Any suggestions for a descent FM antenna for a 1970s receiver? I will just simply not listen to 94.1 anymore. I hope you're happy Jammin 94.1.

What is your location? I have the radioshacks antenna Model: 15-2163 I have 2 acually, I'm just south of Austin, I have this one about 27' up and I can even pull in 92.5 the outlaw almost like a local. Its a pretty directional antenna, even at my place out in Lavaca county, KIXS is in my local area, I can pull in KQQK even over the top of KIXS with that antenna going to Houston. That might be your option. And for the price you cant beat it really!

Go to fmtunerinfo.com Expect to shell out some money on eBay for a good one!
But a decent antenna is also very important. I have used Antennacraft FM-10 for 250 to 300 mile DX, even with fairly modest tuners. Your biggest enemy will be IBOC trash on adjacent frequencies, and it is tough to defeat even with the narrow ceramic filter trick.
