Now KQRS is Up and KXXR is Down

For a few years, legendary Classic Rock station KQRS had been struggling in the ratings. It didn't make the top 10 overall and wasn't seen among the top stations 25-54, where you'd expect a long-time Classic Rock station to finish. The other Cumulus rock station in Minneapolis, Active Rock KXXR, was beating it, even in the adult demos.

Now KQ92 is #9 in the June ratings. But 93X is down at #13. It's even behind the two Adult Album Alternative stations, iHeart's KTCZ and Minnesota Publc Radio's KCMP, both tied at #11.
