Now Playing Song Titles

How do your "now playing" song titles get to your RDS encoder? Data sent straight to the encoder from your automation? From a .txt file that's sent to an FTP site so as to allow multiple studios locations to feed it? Or something else? Please mention which automation and which RDS encoder is being used in each case.

I do it two ways with Audiovault. On the stations we have TRE, I have TRE call the Audiovault on a port and AV then provides the information in the correct format.

If TRE isn't available for the station, I write directly to a UDP port that I create on the FMB80 in the format it 'likes'.

Really easy in AV.
