Your dumb..you have to go to a smaller market to do a morning show if your just a night guy. The moving forward part is the morning show. You have to take a pay cut, unless your that good..and he's, well, not.

Yes, if you want to do mornings, you go to Macon or Chattanooga and start there.
But is this Nudge guy morning material? Does he even WANT to do mornings?(Who the hell wants to get up at 5 in the morning every weekday??) I got the impression from the original post that he was looking elsewhere because he was unhappy with the elderly staff at Star.

Wow... thanks for the tutorial! Without it I wouldn't know "radio works!"
How's that again...? Better market same shift... same market... oh whatever!

A night guy who wants to do mornings... now that's the first sensible thing I've read on this thread! I would expect him to want to go to mornings, and it would have to be a smaller market to cut his teeth. He's got the talent, and he'd do well, but he wouldn't go for just any gig. He's smart enough to know the station would have to market him properly, otherwise he'd just have a morning gig on his resume without a success story.

When he goes, it will be for a solid situation. Not just a "gig."
