I agree.I remember when the last big change to tv happend back when MTS stereo hit the airwaves in 1984. When MTV was MTV NBC Friday Night videos and Miami Vice was totally awesome sound at that time I was so excited I picked up a panasonic portable Hifi stereo PV9600 vcr."to use for weddings and other productions at the time " then and connected the input to a ahh pardon me, yes a Radio Shack Realistic MTS Tuner and fed to a old early 1970's vintage Scott HiFi amp and theater sound was born in my house. At that time , that was the best tv advancement that happen to tv.A couple years later I picked up a NEC Vhs HiFi VCR That machine was a lemon since day one.and a Sony SuperBeta Hifi vcr before the format died.Today The Superbetamax vcr still runs.
