AC radio clearly has BIG problems in DFW. Both KVIL and "Sunny" are just not cutting it.

I think Clear Channel ought to try Urban AC on 97.1. Both the Urban AC stations in the Metroplex are rimshots and I think they could give both Service (KRNB) and Radio One (KSOC) a run for their money.

2 stations that should probably flip and give up the ghost are Bone and Twister. Actually they both should've gone by the wayside over a year ago but for whatever reason they're still around.

Bone could easily go active rock and ABC would be better off if Twister went to Radio Disney or Classic Country.

CC running a Urban on 97.1 could be a smart business move. Seeing that noone is listening to sunny, it would be an interesting experiment. ABC would be smart to flip Twister to either Classic Country,Disney or even an Alt Rock station. We wont see anything out of ABC until the sale is final. Same with Susquehanna and Bone as the sale of the cluster will decide if and when the format will change. Recent rumblings state that managment may attempt a buyout of the Susquehanna Dallas cluster.
