now that WBFZ has been deleted ...

and for some reason there is a rush to get stations on in the Montgomery market (re: 93.5) - would it be possible to allocate 104.9 or (less likely) 105.1 to a nearby non-COL market SW of Montgomery such as Hayneville with a 6kw class A or perhaps a very low class C? Of course, this would all but eliminate the Gump translator - but how close could a station on 105.1, three channels away from WZHT - be ushered in? Would there be any interference issues elsewhere?

Or, could the allocation on 105.1 from Rockford be perhaps moved into say, Eclectic, Holtville, or Marbury? Seems like something which might be considered. I guess we're all finding ways to divide up the listening pie and 'maximize' that valuable spectrum.

Scratch that last thought, I had on here.

Just discovered this, while visiting the REC Networks web site.

When you visit the provided link below, pay attention to the Application History part of it.

I'm going to check on your info and see what's actually going on.

Will be back soon to fill you in on the details.

It looks like WBFZ is a fully licensed radio station once again.

The details are right here: http://licensing.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/prod/cdbs/forms/prod/getimportletter_exh.cgi?import_letter_id=37196

Unless someone can really explain to us, what's going on with WBFZ, I'm going to now say that this radio station is legally back on the air again.

Not going to worry over it though.

Too busy trying to pursue my own LPFM broadcast now.

Hope to have something in the works by this time next year.
