They are on the bird (as it were) as WYJK.

Is there a difference between the ABC service and the locally originated Jack stations?

Other than the fact that it's on satellite? Not really.

Does anyone happen to have audio from the big flip? What song did they end with? Details!

Also wondering what they're up against. Are they the only station there with that format...or was someone else doing it all wrong? (lol)<P ID="signature">______________

> Yes. They are the only station doing it. It's actually kind of funny, because I was hoping a near by station who already plays "classic hits" would have expanded their playlist. Wheeling has:
WEGW rock
WCDK classic hits
WUKL oldies
WOGH Froggy *Pittsburgh* WOVK country, WKWK AC WRKP Christian WVKF, only remaining CHR
and of course WYJK Jack

I know the flip happened at midnight, but beyond that I haven't heard any details as to what the last song was. With the flip being a major surprise, I doubt that there's audio out there of the flip (but if so, I would enjoy hearing it.)

VarietyHits.com

I checked both Mediabase and yes.com, but neither service monitored WOMP. Sorry.

This flip surprised me, as this is another heritage station and has always done well in the market.

Obvious this was budget generated!

Thanks!
