Now WWZN Is Playing "Music" On Sunday Nights

It appears that WWZN-AM 1510 will broadcast anything that brings in revenue. Last night (Sunday, 03/02) I observed that they were airing a program of so called "World Music", at least on that one occasion. I wonder if this will become a regular feature of the station. Not a smart move for a station trying to maintain an image of a station with an emphasis on sports; Sunday night is prime time for people wishing to get the scores of various games.

I didn't hear it, but I'd imagine it must be a brokered/paid show.

WWZN has never made it in the ratings or been profitable as a sports station no matter how various owners have tried to maintain it's "image", and I'm sure that the current owners, who are slowly increasing the amount of brokered programming, know that. Maintaining a "sports" image at all times for a station that's not making it with the format is not as important as selling time slots to keep the station afloat.
