BTW, getting back to the original topic, despite what OneNewsNow would have us believe (pun intended) I see that WBUR is still carrying the long-running Marsh Chapel service every Sunday at 11am.
For those who don't know, WBUR is owned by Boston University, and Marsh Chapel is the campus chapel. They've been broadcasting the Sunday mid-day service for a long, long time. I vaguely remember it had been for around 20 years when I used to engineer it now and then...and that was 12 years ago. The service is non-denominational but nevertheless is Christian, IIRC.
I wouldn't be surprised if WBUR would
want to drop the broadcasts...11am on a Sunday is relatively prime time and I've heard the audience totals take a nosedive when the service comes on...but it'd no doubt cause as much political and listener unrest as it might solve.
For that matter, nobody from NPR yells at us in WEOS whenever we broadcast the "Lessons and Carols" service from St. John's Chapel at HWS every December (and that is most definitely Christian). Whether or not the
listeners particularly want to hear it is another story, I suppose. :

Honestly, I don't know...we don't get any complaints but don't get any compliments, either.
