NTSB finally came out with the report on the Helicopters Inc. crash in Seattle. Looks like the pilot didn’t have an updated preflight checklist from Airbus (Eurocopter), which included proper locking and unlocking of the collective while doing a hydraulic test/run up. If the collective isn’t locked properly, the helicopter could lift up in the air unexpectedly.
