Number One

Maybe Cox found the key to fight Cox. I expect everybody to go all Christmas in November.

So this marks the first time in, what, 19 years that The Dove is not No. 1? All signs point to it flipping to FM talk!

Maybe a flip to sports would beat CBS to "the punch". Of course, I hope the airstaff of WDUV gets to stay.

Check that cume. Wow.

Just goes to show that as the only station playing Christmas music 24/7, they picked up a ton of cume. Also realize that in a PPM world, there was probably quite a few offices and so forth that even if they don't play 94.9 the rest of the year, they were playing it in December. The PPM sure does change things and especially when it comes to special programming like during the holidays.

Also note some of the stations that are really trending down...
WHPT... Bubba and repetition must be really wearing out.
WMTX... Continues to fall, must have lost a lot to Magic, will they get them back in January? Will Nancy in afternoons help?
WFLA... Should I assume people didn't want to hear the same old news garbage over the holidays? Not in danger of changing anything, just an observation.
WSJT... If revenue stays good, they're safe. But looking at numbers... not good.

PPM has changed things for the better and credit is going to those who actually are listened to. Remember Buzz Bennett saying "don't care if anyone listens, just as long as they put our call letters in the diary".
