NWA Numbers

A couple of Obervations. Number one, US 94 is in the tank!!! They need to go back toClassic Country where there ratings were. Kruz 94.9, nic experiment, but format not going to work here in Northwest Arkansas. "The X" has seen its lowest numbers in sometime. Not sure what to think there. They sound good. "The Keg" took a huge leap along with "The Ticket". The rest mainly the same. Cumulus needs to look at its stations that are performing poorly and change or fix them. You could have a nic advertising package with a Classic Hit statin and a Classic Country station which this market is missing. KBTN is form Joplin and is showing up with a weak signal, but people will listen to it to get Classic Country. And again 94.9, need to do something with that. Classic Hits maybe, just a thought.

Quick look at the Arbitron ratings confirms most of what you're saying, though we're basing all this solely on cume numbers right now. KIX kicked ass again---US 94 suffering. The X starting to slide off the map... Keg scooping up some of those listeners. Sports stuff, Hog radio gets a big fat zero again, blown away by 92.1 the Ticket, which set record numbers.

Pretty much all ClearChannel & Cumulus.. I think they still own over half the market.

Is anyone else even playing the radio game anymore?
