When TBS bought out Jim Crockett Promotions in November 1988

Was it announced on any of the wrestling shows on TBS.

And when did they offically drop the NWA name (NOT FROM THE TITLES OR THE PROMOTION)

but from the actual TV shows? I thought that occured some time

during the spring/summer of 1989
 
The last time I heard them in pattern on TBS was sometime in 1990. A wrestler used the initials on one of the "Clash Of Champions" specials.<P ID="signature">______________

Late November / Early December 1990 when TBS dropped the NWA brand name for the WCW brand name with their PPVs using the WCW brand as early as late 1989.
